Fitchburg State University Edgerly Hall

FSU Edgerly Hall

|   Fitchburg MA
Overview: A historically important building on the main quadrangle Edgerly Hall, built in 1909, underwent a phased upgrade and renovation. The first two phases of work converted 4 classrooms on the 3rd floor to faculty office space for the mathematics and computer science departments. New lighting, new HVAC, new fire protection and alarms, and new windows are provided throughout the floor. Perimeter offices were carved out of the old classrooms. Interconnecting the offices required new openings in existing masonry walls. A third phase will insert a new elevator and upgrade existing bathrooms.
